Your imagination and creativity is the key.
Many women are hesitant and refuse to take fashion risks and therefore miss out on so many fabulous styles. Are you one of them? If yes, throw hesitance out of the window and add some variety to your basic wardrobe. Not sure how to wear a Jumpsuit, don’t worry we have some style guides for you.
HOW TO SELECT A JUMPSUIT
Jumpsuits can find premium space in each one of your wardrobes, as it fits absolutely every body type. So let’s jump for jumpsuits.
- If you are tall, select a wide-leg jumpsuit that finishes just below your ankle. Your height can also pull off halter neck and racer back with ease.
- If you are short, select a slim-leg, 3/4th length cropped style. High-waist jumpsuit is your best bet as it will make your legs look taller.
- If you have small bust, a loose cut top with pattern and statement neckline will pull the attention away from the problem area.
- If you have big bust, V-neckline and plain top with pattern at the bottom will help you take away focus from the problem area.
- If you have an hourglass shape, lucky you! Select clean, curve-hugging silhouette cinched at the waist. You are absolutely free to experiment with color, print, pattern and designs.
- If you are petite, layered pieces will give you more volume. A tie waist or peplum style will look most flattering on you.
- If you are plus size, then go for rich fabrics like polyester jersey or others that are soft and stretchable. Monochromes are your safe bet. If prints, then select large prints in darker shades. Recommended for you, jumpsuit with long legs and short sleeves.
- If you have broad shoulders, then you can select jumpsuits that have some embellishments or color-blocking on the shoulders.
Choose the wrong fit/style or add the wrong accessories and your jumpsuit can go from a thumbs up to thumbs down. Luckily, here we are to help make sure your every ensemble is seriously chic.
CHIC WAYS TO PULL-OFF A JUMPSUIT
Like I mentioned earlier, Jumpsuits can adapt to any occasion and event (work, going out, chilling with your best friend over a cup of tea, cocktail parties, dinners). Monochrome (one color) jumpsuit, in a silky fluid fabric, pocket (maybe), bare back Vs plunging neckline gives the ultimate touch of glamour and sophistication. Complete your jumpsuit look with fashionable accessories, such as jewelry, belts and shoes or use layering to add more interest. We have put together a few interesting looks for you. LAYERING AND ACCESSORIZING IS THE KEY
LOOK ONE:
For a day look, I wore a silver shimmer bustier underneath my monochrome blue Jumpsuit to create an overall graceful peek-a-boo-effect. Then as accessories, I picked up a colorful hollywood sling bag and reflective shades. The benefit of one color outfit is that you can add other colors as accessories to pop up the look, so I picked up my all time favorite pointed toe court heels (one of my favorite recent purchase). Makeup: I kept it to minimum with the highlight on the dark colored lips.

Reflective Shades – Rayban; Rose’ Point Toe Court Shoes – Wish.com; Lipstick – Kylie Matte Liquid (Poise K) Purple; Eyes – Mac Black; Nail Paint – L’oreal; Perfume – Salvatore Ferragamo (Singnorina)
LOOK TWO:
When I felt my Jumpsuit, needed something else, I added a chain belt to cinch the waist and a sparkly bag for a slightly dressed up look. Hair: 2 tic tocks and I am ready.
Outfit Details: Look Two
Silver Sling Bag – Eclat; Chain Belt – Aldo
LOOK THREE:
I changed into a black camisole under my Jumpsuit and layered it with a grey white lenin blazer (in the same color family). A beautiful blue stone pendant chain, a black velvet clutch, a pair of crocodile print black and white pumps for a more professional look. Makeup: subtle down with lipstick in brown shade. Hair tied up into a pony and am ready to go to office.

LOOK FOUR:
For this look, I layered it with a white fitted jacket and a nude thin leather belt. Then I picked my tan block heels and mirror shades. I took two pairs of my favorite hoops, silver and black and entangled one into the other (black with silver) to create shoulder length earrings (10 Essentials for your 2018 Wardrobe) I tied my hair into an updo. A perfect hint of retro glam mixed with effortless vibes.

So these are some of the ways in which you can dress up or dress down your jumpsuit. The key step to pulling off your jumpsuit look is deciding what to do with your hair.
My inspiration and love for jumpsuits is since my teenage, as I watched the famous series Santa Barbara. I simply love the way Eden Capewell (the main lead in the series) wore Jumpsuits and accessorized it with belts and clutch. Infact, I guess was obsessed with Eden’s dressing style. Stylish and Elegant.
